SUMMARY:Surviving Voices - World AIDS Day 2021
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, 1st December\, World AIDS Day\, Moviment Graffitti\, together with MGRM\, Checkpoint Malta and Udjenza are organising an activity aimed at raising awareness and sharing thoughts and ideas about this issue with the public. The activity will be held at 67\, Strait Street\, Valletta and will start at 7.00 p.m. \nThe activity\, Surviving Voices\, will start with the screening of a short film about the experiences of transpersons who are HIV positive. This will be followed by a panel discussion which will explore issues related to HIV and AIDS both in relation to the local situation as well as bringing in intersectional elements. \nTogether with Udjenza\, a snippet from the play written by Simon Bartolo\, directed by Toni Attard and produced by Culture Venture\, will be screened during the event. \nThe activity is free of charge. After the discussion there will be some food and drinks to share. \n****** \nNhar l-Erbgħa l-1 ta’ Diċembru\, il-Jum Dinji tal-AIDS\, Moviment Graffitti\, flimkien mal-MGRM\, Checkpoint Malta u Udjenza se jorganizza attività bl-għan li tinħoloq kuxjenza u biex naqsmu ftit ħsibijiet u ideat dwar is-suġġett mal-pubbliku. SUMMARY:Studenti Graffitti Film Night - It's a Wonderful Life
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Christmas-themed Film Night at the Moviment Graffitti premises on Friday 17th December. Doors open at 6pm\, while the film starts at 6:30pm. \nThe film screened will be the 1946 film ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’\, directed by Frank Capra. \nThe protagonist\, George Bailey\, is a man who has given up his personal dreams\, in order to help others in his community\, and whose suicide attempt on Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel\, Clarence Odbody. Clarence shows George how he has touched the lives of others and how different life would be for his wife Mary and his community of Bedford Falls if he had not been born. \n‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ is considered one of the greatest films of all time.
