We are meeting at Boat Street in Valletta, near Maori Bar, on Sunday the 5th of February at 11am.
Bring women’s shoes, men’s shoes and children’s shoes to lay symbolically on the shore, as we confront the question: Who were the people whose lives were lost at sea?
This event is one of many taking place across the world to mark the Global day of CommemorAction where people stand in solidarity with the relatives of those who died or disappeared along migratory routes and call for action to prevent this from happening.
